Blue Star Summer Special: All Military Are Free!
Blue Star Museums allow active duty military families to attend participating museums free of charge
from May 31 - September 6, 2010. (Click here to open/close more information.)
The Morris Museum of Art, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, and more than 600 other museums across America, is one of the designated Blue Star Museums that is offering free admission to all active duty military personnel and their families from Friday, May 28, through Sunday, September 5, 2010. (The Morris is closed Monday, May 31 for Memorial Day and Monday, September 6 for Labor Day). The Morris Museum and the Lucy Craft Laney Museum of Black History are the only attractions in the Central Savannah River Area that are participating in this partnership.
The free admission program is available to active duty military and their immediate family members (military ID holder and five immediate family members), which includes active duty Reserve and active duty National Guard during regular museum hours.
