Join us for Educator Appreciation Night, an evening of gallery talks, art activities, and light refreshments. Free to all public and private school teachers, administrators, support staff, and their families and friends.

House Portraits in Watercolor
Saturday, September 17, 10:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.,
Sunday, September 18, noon–4:30
Painter Randy Lambeth demonstrates various techniques to paint architectural structures. All materials included. Members, $100; nonmembers, $115 per participant. Student Art Needed
We are currently accepting applications from interested teachers to display student work in the Activity Room Gallery during the months of September 2011 through July 2012. Art instructors from schools and organizations in the CSRA are eligible to submit exhibition proposals to show work completed by students in grades pre-K–12. The space is available for two-month periods, with each show lasting approximately eight weeks.

Adult Writing Workshop:
Writing the Past
Saturday, October 15, 1:00–4:30 p.m.
Cultural historian Vennie Deas Moore shares writing tips and techniques that will bring personal memoirs, family narratives, or historical fiction to life. The workshop includes group readings and critiques, as well as exercises and strategies to get your creativity flowing. Members, $40; nonmembers, $55 per participant. Paid registration required by October 9.
