Membership Benefit: Tour Artists Studios

At the Morris Museum of Art we strive to bring entertaining and enriching content to the public– especially to the museum’s members  It is our hope that every member of the Morris reaps ALL the benefits of  membership—from FREE admission and discounts on events programs, and museum store purchases to exclusive social events, studios tours and trips to view art in other cities with museum director Kevin Grogan.

 

Although we are currently unable to celebrate exhibition openings, participate in the myriad public programs that the museum typically offers,  or gather in groups, we can bring some of these opportunities to you virtually! 

A good example? A behind-the-scenes tour of acclaimed artist Edward Rice’s North Augusta studio. You can explore his studio–his work space, office, and store rooms—with him as your guide! You’ll hear the fascinating history of the building he works in, while learning about his techniques and current projects.
