The Morris Museum of Art, which reopened to the public Tuesday, June 9, is offering FREE admission this Summer—Friday, June 12 through August 31, 2020—thanks to the generous support of Bank of America.

“At Bank of America, we believe in the power of the arts to help economies thrive, educate and enhance societies, and cultivate greater cultural understanding,” said Ora Parish, Augusta market president for Bank of America. “Our continued partnership with the Morris Museum of Art is one of the ways we are helping to enrich our Augusta community.”

“Our friends at Bank of America have underwritten the cost of admission for everyone who visits the Morris Museum this summer,” said Kevin Grogan, director of the Morris Museum of Art. “We are grateful for their extraordinary generosity and for this display of community spirit. We hope everyone takes advantage of this chance to explore the Morris Museum for free. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to the museum. In the meantime, we encourage you to visit us online—on our website, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.”

The Morris Museum of Art is open Tuesday-Saturday, 10:00 a.m. a.m.–5:00 p.m. and Sunday, noon–5:00 p.m.‪ The museum’s library, the Center for the Study of Southern Art, will be open by appointment only for the foreseeable future.
