Harlem Renaissance Lecture: Connor Hamm

An art history professor at Georgia State University, Connor Hamm will discuss his research on the art of Edwin and Elise Harleston, husband and wife. His paintings and her photographs made them an important part of the Charleston Renaissance as they chronicled the resurgence of their city in sensitive portraits of its Black residents during the 1920s.
